On Saturday your paintball day promises to be a bit “hit”! Dressed in camouflage and armed with a gun which shoots high-powered paint-balls, the objective of the game is to outwit and outsmart your opposition and of course not to be shot – making sure you make it back to base camp before they do! Let us take this opportunity to warn you that you may pick up a bruise or two along the way. There’s nothing like ‘taking one for the team’! Saturday kicks in with a spot of alcohol tasting – this stag party activity is the perfect way to indulge in a variety of drinks including wines, whisky, rum and absinthe and discover more about your preferred tipple.

Kick the session off with a glass of Prosecco before putting you and your group in the hands of one of our enthusiastic guides, who will show you how to ‘sniff, swirl and slurp’ like a pro in a private ‘How to Taste Wine’ session. Then you’ll move on to the strong stuff where your guide will give you an introduction to whisky and rum, covering everything you need to know in order to appreciate a good snifter. And let’s hope your Stag is paying close attention, because he will, of course, be put to the test with a Blind Tasting Challenge to see if he can tell the difference between a whisky and rum – not as straightforward as it may sound! It doesn’t stop there…the highlight of the session will be an absinthe-making challenge, where your Stag will be in charge of preparing a traditional French absinthe for all the party to taste (if you dare). To wrap it all up, you and your party will then be able to enjoy a free pint of beer creation from the micro-brewery to set you on your way as you continue your celebrations.
